Welcome to Year 5B

Our teacher is Miss Barrett and we have Miss Furey helping us to learn.

In 5B, we are inquisitive learners who pride ourselves on independence and resilience. 

Spellings are issued on a Monday and will be tested on Friday. Children will already have been learning these spellings in their spelling lessons.

We use Classdojo to communicate with parents so keep an eye on there for any updates! 

We have 2 PE lessons a week which are on Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon. This term we are doing athletics and orienteering. 

Homework expectations:

• Read 4x per week (2 of which should be their school reading book)
• Times Tables Rock stars 4x per week
• Learning our spellings ready for the Friday test

If children have read 4 or more times during the week, they move up on our 'Reading Championship' and earn badges.
