More or Less. Using the space themed more or less cards, print them off and ask them to tick the correct picture according to the question. If you do not have a picture you can draw your own pictures. Something simple like stars in 2 separate boxes on pieces of paper and ask children to show you which has more/less.
Positional Language. Have a look at the Teddy Prepositions powerpoint. Work through it with a grown up telling your adult where teddy is.
Using your own teddy bear put him in different places around your house. Put him in front of/behind/on/under/next to things in your house. Can you tell your grown up where teddy is? Can you draw a picture of somewhere you put teddy in your house? Can you write a caption to tell me where he is?
Using the 2d shape bear printable have a go at making your own Shape Bear. If you do not have a printer feel free to look at the example of the sheets and have a go at drawing your own!
Make yourself some 'Bear on Toast'. Have a look at the recipe to check you have the ingredients, if you have got them give it a go!
Packing for the moon. Have a think about what Baby Bear took with him to the moon. Why did he take some food? What would happen if he didn't wear his helmet or didn't take his boots? Explain that we need different items for different reasons. We are now going on a mission to the moon! Have a think about what you would need to take in your Space Backpack. Using the activity sheet choose what you would want to take with you and explain to a grown up why you have chosen it.
Visiting the moon. Imagine what it would be like to visit the moon. Would it be hot/cold? Would it be dark/light? Would it be bumpy or dusty? Using the sheet provided draw a picture of you and Baby Bear on the moon. Next, draw a picture of something you might see when you are on the moon.
Labelling a rocket. Have a look at the sheet provided, colour in you rocket. You can either cut and stick to label your rocket or have a go at writing your own labels.
Nursery rhyme. Have a go at learning the song 'In a Rocket'. Once you have learnt this perform it with your teddy bears to a grown up.
