P.E.

Remember your body needs to warm up before exercise. Warming up gets muscles moving slowly at first - like warming up the engine. Then the muscles are more elastic (stretchy) so they are able to move smoothly, work better together and help you to do your best with less chance of getting an injury.

 

These exercises are just so you can have a little fun and keep your bodies moving. I'll be doing them too as you know I never ask you to do anything I wouldn't do!

 

I have set you a challenge which you have to try and complete by the end of week 5. Let's see who's up for a challenge!

  • Run on the spot for 1 minute
  • 5 jumps from crouch position to pencil stretch

 

   Challenge

  • To touch your toes without bending your knees by the end of week beginning 22nd May 2020.

  • Run on the spot for  2 mins
  • 10 jumps from crouch position to pencil stretch.

  • Run on the spot for  2 mins
  • 10 jumps from crouch position to pencil stretch.

  • 30 star jumps
  • Run on the spot for 2 minutes without stopping
  • 10 jumps from crouch position to pencil stretch
  • 10 alternate knee to elbow touches
